You develop skills by taking part in new activities which you've never tried before. School is the perfect time to start to explore what you are good at, try new things, push yourself out of your comfort zone and learn new things about yourself.
You can start to prepare for the future by considering these six employability skills and think of examples of how you have developed them at school, through interests or hobbies, volunteering or a part time job. Mastering these skills is a long term process, you will be adapting and learning more about them throughout your lifetime.
