Schools on the Isle of Man are able to offer a range of other qualifications at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 alongside their core IGCSE/GCSE offer. These qualifications may provide learners with specific opportunities to develop transferable employability skills such as team-working, problem solving and communication, work to occupational standards in an area of employment that they are interested in or show their learning in ways other than exams.
It is hoped that through this broad offer Isle of Man schools are able to support the full range of learner’s needs as well as their aspirations for education and/or employment.
